A little goes a long way. went with a 4:1 diluted iridescent green Golden paint. very subtle.

Tried out using a makeup sponge for color application last night, and I like what I was able to get over the texture.

Working on the hollow log hollow form. Carving in the bottom for the center piece and trying to blend the natural part with the carved part. Not sure about this one but too late to turn back now.

I agree! Seems like every time I turn a hollow form or pick up my carver I’m experimenting

Thanks guys ! Me either, I’m bad to start one then lose interest and set it aside. I started this one proably six months ago. I usually always finish one but my take 6 months to a year.
